I have been a Chelsea Fan since 1972 when a mate took me to see Chelsea at home to Liverpool! 

Win, draw or lose - I stayed faithful and remain faithful to the club.  However, since Jose Mourinho left the club, the first team have seemed to be a side of individual players and no longer a team.  The club management replaced a world class club manager with a ‘manager’ of dubious experience and, whatever the Club Management may espouse through the Official CFC Website, something is dreadfully wrong with Chelsea Football!

Seats are empty, we win by grinding out results but without any flair and, although we are in the European Cup Semi-Finals and stand a chance of winning the Premiership,we have lost out in the other two cups we should have won easily!  How on earth are we leaking goals - something we didn’t do under Mourinho!

I used to hate watching Arsenal under George Graham play against Chelsea - they would come to Stamford Bridge and try to kick us off the park and they were truly boring in that they would score a goal and then shut up shop!  We used to call them boring, boring Arsenal!  Chelsea are becoming “Boring, boring Chelsea”!

To be honest, Mouriho was of the same ilk as George Graham but at least got players with flair playing with flair even if the results were 1 - 0.  I’d like that to become the ‘norm’ for Chelsea as 4 - 4 may be exciting TV but it is tough to swallow drawing with teams like Spurs when we have the players to beat them easy!

There are shouts of Avram Grant not knowing what he is doing.  I am sure he does know exactly what he IS doing . . . . the trouble is that what he is doing is managing a Premiership Team with all the experience of a teaboy and it is a shame he is being allowed to do what he IS doing to my very much loved Chelsea Team!

I am a very unhappy Chelsea Supporter.

I have been playing Guild Wars for the past 11 months and have been so engrossed that my upkeep of the Bearz Cave and the associated Bearz Blog have lapsed.

Guild Wars is an online role playing game that is suitable for people of all ages and, as I have discovered, both genders. It is played globally with players form all of the Continents and most countries of the world.  I am absolutely smitten and have pretty much played the game every day for the last 11 months

Having progressed my characters through to the completion of “Nightfall” and “Eye of the North” (the most recent chapters/editions) I am now progressing my main character through “Guild Wars: Prophecies”.  My main character is a female Necromancer and she is pretty cool!

To socialise and, now that my character has gained enough experience enough to suport other players, I have joined the Sanctity of Necros Guild. If any other Guild Wars player is looking for a friendly, helpful guild open to players of all ages, they are more than welcome to join us.

Sanctity of Necros runs group Treasure Hunts and Alliance Battle weekends and generally helps players through ’sticky’ quests that are not so easily done without some experience and tactical skills. The Guild has this experience and I am glad to have joined it and become part of the group!

Another Chelsea Rant I am afraid . . . . . . . oh what joy it is to be a Chelsea Football Club fan at the moment!!

I mean no disrespect to the Dutch but is the Eredivisie Division of the Holland Football Association really world class?  It has 3 well known clubs (Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven have a combined record of winning this league 63 times - 29, 20 and 14 respectively) and these football clubs totally dominate that league - somewhat similar to Celtic and Rangers dominating that other world class Scottish League!

I now read that Chelsea want to bring in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar whilst at the same time recruiting Henk Ten Cate to be the no. 2 Coach under the inexperienced Avram Grant. Both are with Ajax FC! It all sounds very ‘cut-price’ and trying to buy cheap to appear to be ‘developing Chelsea Football Club’ having let go Jose Mourinho and spent a fortune on ‘No Goals and No Legs” Andrei Shevchenko!!

We had a Club Coach with proven record of winning the European Cup in the shape of Jose Mourinho. We now seem to be thinking of replacing him with a relatively unknown (BUT legally qualified) Coach who is the manager for a Club that dominates Dutch football.

If this approach falls through I imagine Chelsea FC will then be looking to recruit a world class coach and players from the very strong Scottish Football League with the likes of Celtic or Rangers providing Chelsea with their new world class coach and players.

Yet more cause for despondency for Chelsea Fans.

Phew!  It is a stinker of a cold and I have spent all day in bed. Hot water bottles, fluids, Lemsips and trying to keep warm!!  I hate Colds!!!

The weather started changing to Autumn about a week ago and, wouldn’t I just know it, I’ve caught a cold . . . . . it is “Man Flu” really as I feel like I am dying! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
